Reception/Traffic (Maternity Leave)
CFJC-TV, CFJC Today, B100 & CIFM has a 1-year maternity leave opening for a hard-working, forward thinking individual to be involved in our Reception and Traffic (Commercial Scheduling) Departments.
The successful applicant must have initiative, strong attention to detail and be able to function well in a busy but fun environment. You require outstanding phone skills, the ability to multitask well, have manners, enjoy meeting and greeting people, possess strong computer skills (such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and database management), basic accounting knowledge is an asset.
This person must also have well-developed people skills, as this job involves interacting extensively with visitors to the operation along with other departments in the building. Along with being a “people” person, we are looking for a self-starter who is committed to Total Team Involvement!
This individual will also be required to perform commercial scheduling (traffic) duties as part of regular job functions. Experience with the Wide Orbit Traffic System and knowledge of traffic applications as they apply to radio and television would be a definite advantage.
